Leveraging Artificial Intelligence in Media Production: Photo, Video, and Audio Content Creation

Nick Manley is a senior-level educational technology leader and award-winning filmmaker with over a decade of expertise in digital strategy and end-to-end educational delivery. Manley has co-founded online schools in the US and Singapore and spent 10 years as a professor of media production, teaching at institutions such as Harvard University, Emerson College, and Texas A&M. He holds an MFA in media arts from Emerson College. As an instructor at Harvard's Division of Continuing Education, he has received letters of commendation and multiple awards for his innovative courses and community engagement efforts. Manley's expertise includes synchronous and asynchronous curriculum design, online course development, universal design for learning (UDL), and integrating emerging educational technologies. As a co-founder of two online schools in Singapore, Manley served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director of Learning Strategy and Innovation. In these roles, he developed governmental partnerships, expanded international learning frameworks, and spearheaded business development initiatives. His work focused on leveraging cutting-edge educational technologies in Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand to create impactful and inclusive learning experiences. In 2023, Manley was recognized as a Fellow at Harvard's Inclusive Teaching Institute (ITI), a pilot program supported by the Harvard Culture Lab Innovation Fund (CLIF). After the pilot's success, Manley extended his involvement as a mentor in the program, serving through 2025 and continuing to promote inclusivity across Harvard's teaching community. As a filmmaker, Manley's work has screened at international film festivals across the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. His latest documentary, Fierro, profiles decorated war veteran and inclusivity advocate Richard Fierro, who heroically intervened to stop a mass shooting at an LGBTQ+ nightclub in 2022.
