How can we thrive under pressure while supporting our well-being and the well-being of others? The internal pressure that motivates us to become the best is the same pressure that breaks us apart. In this multidisciplinary course, we explore the dynamic intersection of performance and resilience, drawing on insights from neuroscience, psychology, management, sports, the military, and the arts to address the tensions between achieving excellence and maintaining balance. Participants engage with conceptual material and apply it to real-world challenges through rigorous discussions, case studies, group and individual exercises, and reflections on their experiences. Our curriculum emphasizes hands-on practice, real-time feedback, and collaborative learning to simulate real-world leadership scenarios, equipping students with tools to regulate stress, perform under pressure, and lead with empathy and effectiveness. We have seen in our lives, leadership, and work with managers worldwide how important a holistic, scientific, and human approach is for our performance and well-being.
