This discussion-based course examines leadership and management from gender-based historical and current perspectives. Issues covered include leadership styles and their impact, understanding power, conflict management, ethical decision-making, workplace stereotypes, impact on policymaking, differences in communication, negotiations, and approaches to teamwork. Students have the opportunity to lead discussions and engage in a small-scale research project of their own design.
