Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are more accessible than ever before, and the rise of large language models (LLMs) has expanded and accelerated where they can be put to work. Yet human judgment remains critical, not only to ensure these systems deliver the value expected of them, but also to decide where and when to deploy them. This course opens these methods up for professionals without an engineering or data science background, using Python in Google Colab. Every topic pairs the theory of why a method works with the business question it answers and a hands-on, simplified implementation example drawn from strategy, marketing, and product management. Students leave the course with a practical understanding of what these tools can and cannot do, so they are better positioned to contribute to and lead these conversations at work.
