This course is an acting workshop that explores the myriad techniques toward the invention of solo performance texts. Students learn how to portray both themselves onstage, as well as a variety of characters of their own imagining, using a theatrical techniques such as theater games, improvisation, memoir, and status shifts. This is a great beginner course not only for those interested in acting or writing, but for any professional who must present themselves to the public and be in the spotlight.
