Proseminar: Introduction to Graduate Studies in Anthropology and Psychology

Kelsey Quigley is a clinical psychologist interested in the effects of stress, trauma, and positive caregiving on development. In the clinic, she has worked primarily with children, women, and gender-expansive individuals who have experienced chronic, relational, or sexual trauma. In her research, she examines biobehavioral pathways by which early adversity influences later functioning, with an eye toward identifying early-life contributors to health disparities. Quigley has taught undergraduate courses in the Harvard and Pennsylvania State University psychology departments, the Harvard College Writing Program, and as part of the Harvard University Committee on Human Rights Studies. She has worked previously as a Federal Policy Analyst and as an Early Childhood Mental Health consultant at Zero to Three: National Center for Infants, Toddlers, and Families in Washington, DC. Quigley completed her PhD in clinical psychology at Penn State University, with secondary fields in developmental psychology and social, cognitive, and affective neuroscience. She completed her postdoctoral training with Drs. Michelle Bosquet Enlow and Charles Nelson at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Quigley earned her AB in social studies at Harvard University.
