Fundamentals of Academic Writing

Paul Thur is director of the writing center of the College of General Studies at Boston University. He has won several academic fellowships for teaching and research, including the James E. Conway Award for Excellence in Teaching Writing in 2004. A native of New Jersey, Thur has taught expository writing at Rutgers University, the University of Redlands, Harvard Summer School, and Boston University, as well as critical reading and writing skills to high school and middle school students.
