Fundamentals of Academic Writing

Janet Sylvester's books, And Not to Break, The Mark of Flesh, and That Mulberry Wine, have been published by major trade houses and university presses. She is currently working on a new book, Color Wheel. Her prize-winning poems have also appeared extensively in literary journals and anthologies, including Best American Poetry, the Pushcart Prize anthology, and Poetry Daily. She has held fellowships at MacDowell, Yaddo, and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA). Sylvester is currently teaching expository and creative writing at the Harvard Extension School, Harvard Summer School, and Endicott College.
