This course examines artificial intelligence (AI) from legal and educational perspectives, emphasizing ethical norms for AI advancements and preparing students to become future leaders in this emerging technology. It includes readings, films, and guest speakers from Harvard University's leading AI-driven and innovation research centers. Additionally, students create their own AI civil rights project with a focus on legal protections and ethical considerations. This course focuses on civil rights issues within US and international law, including a primary focus on doctrinal topics in constitutional law, torts, contracts, and criminal law.
