The thesis is an opportunity to work with an assigned thesis director on a creative writing project in fiction, nonfiction, or dramatic writing. You emerge from the thesis process with an original creative work which reflects your solid understanding of the writer's craft.

Prerequisites

Registration is limited to officially admitted degree candidates in our Master of Liberal Arts (ALM), creative writing and literature, who are in good standing and have successfully completed the Crafting the Thesis Proposal (CTP) tutorial or course in the prior semester, have an officially approved thesis proposal, and an assigned thesis director. Proposals and thesis directors are approved by candidates' designated research advisors.
