This tutorial helps students execute academically strong and professionally successful internships. During the semester, students submit weekly reflections, schedule bi-weekly meetings, and submit drafts of the final reflection paper. Students are encouraged to contact Dr. Steven Denkin well before the required internship proposal is due to discuss possible internship topics and placements.

Prerequisites

Registration is restricted to officially admitted degree candidates in the Master of Liberal Arts, biotechnology, who have received internship approval. Prospective candidates and students with pending admission applications are not eligible. Candidates must have successfully completed eight courses (32 credits) and be in good academic standing. Candidates who do not meet these degree requirements are dropped from the tutorial.
