The thesis is an opportunity to work with an assigned thesis director on a research project of your own design that contributes to the scholarly literature in your field. You emerge from the thesis process with a solid understanding of how original research is executed and how to best communicate research results.

Prerequisites

Registration is limited to officially admitted degree candidates in our Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) programs in good standing who have successfully completed the Crafting the Thesis Proposal (CTP) tutorial or course in the prior semester, have an officially approved thesis proposal, and an assigned thesis director. Proposals and thesis directors are approved by candidates' designated research advisors.
